It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to the world and cherished by many as Jiggly Caliente. Bianca passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at 4:42 am, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
Born on November 29, 1980, in San Pedro, Laguna, Philippines, Bianca immigrated to the United States at the age of 10, settling in Queens, New York. She rose to prominence as a contestant on the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2012 and later returned for the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Beyond the Drag Race franchise, Jiggly showcased her acting talents in the acclaimed FX series Pose, portraying Veronica Ferocity, and served as a judge on Drag Race Philippines.
In addition to her television appearances, Jiggly was a passionate advocate for transgender rights and representation. In 2016, she publicly came out as transgender, using her platform to raise awareness and support for the LGBTQ+ community. Her music career included the release of her debut album, T.H.O.T. Process, in 2018, further showcasing her multifaceted talents.
Just days before her passing, Bianca underwent a right leg amputation due to a severe infection. Despite this, she remained surrounded by love and support, with her family announcing her peaceful passing on social media.
