It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Lilian “Lily” Louise Kieffer, who departed this world on April 23, 2025, at the tender age of one. Born on April 13, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri, Lily’s brief time with us was filled with immeasurable love, joy, and the purest of smiles.

Lily was the cherished daughter of Matt and Lizzie Kieffer and the adored little sister of Mia Kieffer. Her grandparents, Jeffrey and Deborah Kieffer, and Rex and Karla Degner, held her close in their hearts, treasuring every moment spent with her. Though her time with us was short, Lily’s impact was profound, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She now joins her great-grandmother, Sheila Kelly; great-grandparents, James and Rita Kieffer; great-grandfather, James Degner; and Larry Keenan in eternal peace.

A celebration of Lily’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the joy she brought into our lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a children’s charity of your choice, in Lily’s name, to continue spreading the love and kindness she embodied.
